Australian pace bowler Mitchell Johnson has tipped Mitchell Starc as the next pace spearhead of the team in view of his stunning one-day bowling figures.
Reflecting on Starc's performance, Johnson said that he had got everything it takes to be a spearhead, adding that if he keeps continuing the way he is, he would be a champion, News.com.au reported.
Starc opened the bowling and relegated Johnson to first-change in both the one-day tri-series final and the World Cup opener against England.
Johnson further said that Starc was learning every day, adding that the more cricket he plays the more he learns so it was good to have some senior guys around to help him out.
