Jon Hamm has revealed that he went through "5 steps of grief" after saying goodbye to his character on 'Mad Men.'
The 44-year-old actor, who filled the role of Don Draper for 8 long years in the show, which would be airing its last episode, said that it was great loss, and he was through the 5 steps of grief, ABC News reported.
Whoever invented those was a genius, he added.
Hamm said that it was blessing that filming had ended last summer in July, as they all had time to do other things and move on with their lives before revisiting the show.
He added that saying goodbye was a real thing as for 8 years he had walked in the same office but now felt like "Oh s***, its' gone. The whole office is gone.
