Jude Law was angry at his film pal Daniel Craig over his affair with his then girlfriend Sienna Miller.
A court heard that Law screamed at Craig on the phone asking him how he could do that to a friend, the Daily Star reported.
Law is currently waging war against two prominent former editors of the now-defunct tab News of the World.
The 2005 bust-up was revealed at the Old Bailey where Rebekah Brooks and others denied phone hacking charges.
