Formula one driver Jules Bianchi's father revealed that his son has been 'running a daily marathon' in order to recover from injuries sustained during the Japanese Grand Prix crash last year.
The Marussia driver suffered severe head injuries when he crashed into a recovery vehicle in wet conditions at Suzuka on 5 October, and remains in a coma since the accident.
Phillipe Bianchi said that it shocks more than an actual death in this type of accident, adding that the pain is endless; a daily torture, the BBC reported.
The injured driver's father also said that Jules is running a daily marathon as all of his organs are working without assistance, insisting that he remains unconscious for now.
Phillipe, however, maintained that his son is moving forward and they are hoping for a new evolution as the next one would be for him to get out his coma.
