Actress Julie Gayet is set to sue French magazine 'Closer' for revealing her and French president Francois Hollande's secret affair.
Gayet has reportedly consulted her lawyers with a view to initiating legal proceedings, the Guardian reported.
However, the 59-year-old politician had earlier told the press that he would not drag the publication through the courts for breaching his privacy and refused to comment on the rumored affair.
'Closer' has published a special edition, which claimed that Hollande had been visiting Gayet at a flat near Elysee Palace, without the knowledge of his partner Valerie Trierweiler.
The magazine also printed a series of pics of the 41-year-old actress entering the apartment building, followed some time later by a man, who they claimed was Hollande, arriving on the back of a scooter.
Gayet had already lodged a formal legal complaint last March over rumors circulating on the internet that she was romantically involved with the French president.
