Justice Nuthalapati Venkata Ramana, a judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, has been appointed as the next Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, President Pranab Mukherjee has appointed Justice Ramana as the Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
