Kanye West will not be prosecuted for attempted robbery stemming from a recent altercation with a paparazzo at Los Angeles International Airport.
The incident is currently under investigation by the LAPD detectives, but law enforcement sources tell the site that West will not be charged with the felony because there is no concrete evidence that proves he attempted to steal the camera from the photographer, TMZ reported.
Based on this information, the attempted robbery file will be transferred to the L.A. City Attorney, where West's case will be evaluated for misdemeanor criminal battery prosecution.
The insiders revealed that the file will then end up with the LA City Attorney for a possible misdemeanor criminal battery prosecution.
According to the gossip site, West is willing to pay his way out of the case legally with a civil compromise, which would erase the charges from the rapper's record.
