The entire Kapoor clan came up to cheer Armaan Jain- the new entrant in films from their family, at the music launch of his debut film 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil'.
Armaan, who is Raj Kapoor's younger daughter Reema's son, enjoyed the full support of his maternal family, including cousin sisters Karisma and Kareena, aunt Neetu Kapoor, uncles Randhir, Rishi and Rajiv Kapoor and grandmom Krishna Raj Kapoor.
On the occasion, a thrilled Armaan thanked everyone for their support, "I am really excited and its really overwhelming standing in front of you all. I just want to thank you all for being here and supporting all of us. I don't have much to say, it's really overwhelming, I am really excited, thank you so much."
While the Kapoors took away all the limelight of the event, it was the soulful performance by ace musician, A.R. Rahman along with singer Shweta Pandit that mesmerized everyone, singing few songs from the film.
Later, the lead pair of 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil,' both Armaan and Deeksha Seth gave a scintillating dance performance, which garnered applause from one and all present at the launch.
Cousin Sisters Karishma and Kareena Kapoor also stood by their younger brother on his special day and wished for his success.
"Armaan is also joining our family tradition of becoming an actor, and I think it's an emotional moment for us as cousin sisters, and we wish him all the very best and all the support," said Karishma.
Apart from the Kapoor clan, the others present included directors Imtiaz Ali and Karan Johar.
Directed by debutante director Arif Ali', Lekar hum Deewana Dil' is a story of a young couple who try to redefine rules of marriage in India.
