Kate's mum Carole Middleton named most stylish celeb grandma

Carole Middleton, mother of the Duchess of Cambridge, has beaten Kate's mother-in-law, the Duchess of Cornwall, to the number one spot in the poll of the most stylish celebrity grandmother.

According to the new survey, 40 percent respondents choose 58-year-old Carole over the likes of Goldie Hawn and Mary Berry, while only a mere 2 percent opted for Prince Charles' wife Camilla Parker-Bowles, the Daily Express reported.

Hawn stood on the second position with 28 percent votes and the third position was shared by Sharon Osbourne and Berry with 10 percent.

Actress Jane Fonda and Sally Field also featured in the list.

A rep of Kaleidoscope, who conducted the survey, said that there are so many super stylish grandmas in the public eye at present such as Carole and Berry that are really leading the way for British women and providing them with a huge pool of style inspiration.
