Katy Perry and John Mayer, who split in February, 2014, have reportedly come back together after the duo was spotted in Beverly Hills over the weekend.
A source told People Magazine that the duo is very strong-willed people and despite caring about each other very much and wanting to make it work, they were, at their core, quite different.
A source close to the 30-year-old songstress told the publication that the pair actually buried the hatchet a while back, and they are friends adding that the outing might not necessarily signal a rekindled romance.
The source added that it was not a surprise they would see each other socially as Perry is focused on her career and making herself happy.
The 'Dark Horse' hitmaker was linked with DJ and producer Diplo after Perry and Mayer split their ways.
