Keira Knightley will make her Broadway stage debut in 'Therese Raquin, ' it has been reported.
The 29-year-old star would play the title character in the play, based on Emile Zola's 1867 classic and described as "a tale of love, lust, betrayal, and guilt," the BBC reported.
Knightley will portray the role of a young woman trapped in a loveless marriage who has an affair with one of her husband's friends.
'Therese Raquin' begins previews on 1 October and has its opening night on 29 October at a Broadway theatre yet to be announced.
