Five CPI (M) Communist Party of India (Marxist) workers were injured after country-made bombs were allegedly hurled at them during a procession in Kannur's Panoor in Kerala on Sunday.
The incident took place in the afternoon when CPI (M) workers were holding a procession in Panoor where country-made bombs were allegedly hurled at them.
The stone pelting broke out after the attack in which four policemen were injured.
The CPI (M) has alleged BJP-RSS workers behind the attack.
Earlier this month, clashes erupted between CPM and RSS in Kannur when a country-made bomb was hurled at two CPI-M cadres in Koothparambu district in Kannur.
