Kevin Bacon is set to star in Greg McLean's survival drama 'Jungle.'
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the project, which is based on the true story of adventurer Yossi Ghinsberg, who was lost alone for 3 weeks in the Amazon rainforest in Bolivia in 1981, would be financed by Screen Australia while Arclight Films produce.
'Jungle' was one of 11 projects to receive 9.2 million dollars worth of financing from agency Screen Australia.
Screenwriter Justin Monjo penned the script for the film which Gary Hamilton, Dana Lustig, Mike Gabrawy and Mark Lazarus will produce.
The film marks 2nd project for Bacon and McLean, who had worked together on Blumhouse supernatural thriller '6 Miranda Drive' earlier this year.
