Australia's run of injuries continue as Kings XI Punjab batsman Shaun Marsh has been ruled out of the rest of the Indian Premier League season with a back injury.
The 32-year-old picked up the injury during his side's six-wicket defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 19.
Marsh experienced some discomfort while batting and fielding during Kings XI's recent win against Gujarat Lions and as a result he would head home for further assessment, ESPNcricinfo reported.
Marsh, who missed the side's opening match with food poisoning, scored 159 runs in his six games for the team.
Earlier, Rising Pune Supergiants players Mitchell Marsh and Steve Smith were also ruled out of the IPL due to their respective injuries.
Kings XI are currently languishing at the bottom of the points table, having just two wins from seven games they have played so far. They will next lock horns with KKR at Eden Gardens on Wednesday.
