KOMPANIONS launches K-LAB, India's first 3D knowledge laboratory in NCR

KOMPANIONS, an innovative Ed-Tech-Sci organisation launched India's first 3D Knowledge Laboratory (K-LAB) in Delhi/NCR. The new initiative is to benefit both schools and parents.

K-LABs provide augmented reality and virtual reality enabled learning ecosystem, automated weekly skill reporting, enhanced levels of learning through engagement and provides increased concentration and concept clarity amongst learners.

The laboratory set up is incorporated within the school premises where it combines aspects such as virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, gamification, brain boosters and remediation to make learning impactful.

With a focus on building "skills for the future", K-LAB will offer themes such as Kindergarten, animal safari, marvels of India, solar system, wonders of the world, shapes and dimensions, The Human anatomy, modes of transport, to facilitate an exploratory and immersive learning environment amongst learners.

"In our endeavour to empower children with skills that make them future ready, we are launching the K-Lab offering. We had carried out research in many schools at the product development stage, where we received a lot of interest from these schools in Delhi NCR. This was how we came up with the concept of K-LAB for schools. We set up pilot LABs to test in a few of these schools. These have been very successful and the schools have come back to us with an overwhelming response. With an expanded team size, we plan to reach out to all of the schools in these regions now, and to rest of India by early next year," said Co-founder and Director, KOMPANIONS, Yuvraj Krishan Sharma.

The tech platform aids in faster concept explanations, comprises of more than 200 3D teaching resources, which provides auto-generated reports for student performance on life skills and automated formative assessments.

The LAB aims to builds higher level of confidence and engagement among students, improves concentration and creativity, enhances general awareness and skills and makes for a self paced learning environment.

Products are both in the B2B and B2C space.
