Lady Gaga feels performing 'Till It Happens to You' at the 88th Annual Academy Awards, a song on sexual abuse at college campus, will be liberating and emancipating.
The 29-year-old pop star, a survivor of sexual assault, says that this song used to define her earlier; but after her performance at the Oscars, it will no more define her, reports Channel 24.
Gaga was sexually assaulted when she was 19. 'Till It Happens to You,' written with Diane Warren, a nominee for 'best original song,' appears in 'The Hunting Ground,' a documentary about sexual assault on college campuses that was directed by Kirby Dick.
