Lalu wants to run government through remote control, claims PM Modi

Continuing his attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal chief and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Friday that the former wants to run the government through remote control.

He was addressing a rally in Sasaram today.

"Lalu ji wants to run Bihar remotely. Lalu says he is the big boss," Modi said.

Dubbing the grand alliance of three partners- Congress, JD (U) and RJD again as a 'Mahaswarthbandhan', Modi launched a frontal attack on RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and said that the people of Bihar would on October 16 punish those who have ruined the state.

"The atmosphere I see, I compliment leaders of NDA, BJP that they had courage to hold rally in such a big ground. You are India's Supreme Court, Bihar's law makers. You are the ones who have to punish the people who have done wrong. On 16th October, you will punish those who have ruined this state," Modi added.

"Why have they joined hands suddenly. They never shared one platform on issues relating to Bihar before. This is their love for power, and thus, they have joined hands. 'Yeh Swarth Bandhan Hai'," said Prime Minister Modi.

Modi also said that his political rivals in Bihar are always looking for a new word in their dictionary to abuse him every morning.

"The only thing they do every morning is find a new abuse in the dictionary and then hurl it at me," said Modi.

Modi further took aim at RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and questioned their development track record.

"They have ruled for 60 years in Bihar - the Congress for 35 years, 'Bade Bhai' and 'Chhote Bhai' for another 25 years. They must give an account of their governance and every paisa spent," Modi said, and appealed to the people of Bihar to give the NDA just seven months to turn things around for the better.
