Lena Dunham has apologized for comparing Bill Cosby to the Holocaust.
The 28-year-old actress made the remark while discussing criticism Judd Apatow has received for his outspoken stance against Cosby in the wake of recent sexual allegations, with "Black-ish" creator Kenya Barris calling Apatow "obsessive," E! Online reported.
The 'Girls' star took it to her Instagram account to say "Very excited about my pop art Time Out NY cover, photo by Danielle Levitt and popification by Chad Silver... My best friend and partner @campsucks interviewed me and it was a ball."
Dunham further wrote "However, I feel I didn't properly express my respect and passion for Karen O. and Danny DeVito. Additionally I'm already aware comparing Bill Cosby to the Holocaust wasn't my best analogy. With Love from your special rape-hating Jew friend LENA.
