Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski will reportedly pocket a ten million-pound signing-on fee and 130,000 pounds-a-week wages when he signs a pre-contractual agreement with German side Bayern Munich in January next year, which has won the race to sign the Pole.
Lewandowski has been overwhelmingly courted by the cream of Europe, including Arsenal, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs United and City, which led him to issue a plea to interested clubs to refrain from calling his representatives as he had already decided his immediate future.
According to the Mirror, Bayern had earlier attempted to lure Lewandowski from their arch-rivals Dortmund last season, although Dortmund refused to sell.
However, the report mentioned that this time even though Dortmund attempted to offer Lewandowski the best contract in the club's history during prolonged talks, the footballer refused, adamant that he was going to leave.
The report mentioned that Arsenal had offered Dortmund 25 million pounds to secure Lewandowski's signature in January rather than wait for an auction to erupt next summer.
