Lindsay Lohan is suffering from rare, untreatable virus, Chikungunya, during holiday vacation and has urged fans to use bug spray in her latest tweets.
The 28-year-old actress updated her fans by tweeting on Dec. 28 that being sick was no fun but wished happy New Year to everyone and advised them to be safe, Us magazine reported.
According to the World Health Organization, Chikungunya is transmitted through mosquito bites and causes fever, joint paint, fatigue and a rash, and is sometimes mistaken for dengue. Unfortunately for 'The Parent Trap' star, there is no cure and the joint pain can last for months.
