The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day today following noisy scenes over the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and a demand for the removal of Justice A.K. Ganguly from the post of chairman of the West Bengal Human Rights Commission.
As soon as the House reassembled at noon, members from Andhra Pradesh trooped into the well with placards and shouted slogans against the bifurcation of the state.
Trinanmool Congress members were also seen in the well, demanding the removal of Justice A.K. Ganguly for his alleged involvement in a sexual harassment case.
Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House amidst the din.
