Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) chief Ajay Maken on Monday criticized the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government for failing to appoint a Lokpal after coming to power and threatened to file a complaint against the legislators of the ruling party.
Maken alleged that the post of Lokayukta has been lying vacant since the Sheila Dikshit-led Congress government demitted office in Delhi.
"Last time, Kejriwal left the chair in 49 days, now it has been 150 days and there is still no Lokpal," said Maken.
"We will file a complaint against 28 AAP MLAs, including Kejriwal, in Lokayukta office today. We want to tell him that he spoke a lot about Lokayukta, now where is the Lokpal and the Lokayukta" he added.
The Congress has been unrelenting in its protest against the AAP over the Lokayukta's post lying vacant.
