A doctor who practised in east London has been charged with more than 100 sexual offences, including child abuse.
Manish Shah, of Brunel Close in Romford, is accused of 65 counts of assault by penetration and 52 allegations of sexual assault, the Metropolitan police said.
The 47-year-old is also charged with one count of sexual assault on a child under 13 (118 counts of assault in total).
The offences were alleged to have occurred between June 2004 and July 2013 and relate to 54 victims, The Guardian reports.
The accused has been bailed several times, having first been arrested in 2013.
The charges were announced on Wednesday.
Shah is due to appear at a magistrates court on August 31.
