The Crime Branch of Goa Police on Wednesday moved a sessions court here seeking NARCO analysis test for three main accused namely, ex-chief minister Digambar Kamat, ex- PWD minister Churchill Alemao and project director and principal chief engineer of PWD Anand Wachasunder, in connection with the Louis Berger bribery scam.
"We have sent an application to the concerned court seeking for NARCO analysis test of three main accused in the case namely, ex-chief minister Digambar Kamat, ex- PWD minister Churchill Alemao and project director and principal chief engineer of PWD Anand Wachasunder," Goa Superintendent of Police(crime branch), Karthik Kashap told ANI here.
Louis Berger, a US-based firm, had revealed to the US authorities earlier this year that it had paid bribes to some persons in Goa government in 2010 to get a consultancy contract for a water and sewerage project funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency.
On 21 July 2015 the Goa crime branch had registered a First Information Report in this scam.
