A luxury champagne maker has claimed that he has created the world's most expensive bottle after encrusting the logo with a 19-carat diamond worth 1.8 million dollars.
The Gout de Diamants' Superman style signature logo, handcrafted from 18-carat solid gold, sits in the center of a single flawless deep-cut white diamond that weighs 19 carats, the New York Daily News reported.
The bubbly bottle was produced for an unnamed private client.
The label, engraved with the client's name, is also hewn from 18-carat solid white gold.
UK designer Alexander Amosu, the creator of the one-of-a-kind bottle, said that the sparking wine is a blend of Grand Cru Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier which offers a floral, refreshing and creamy texture and ends with a light and elegant finish.
