Australian cricketer Nathan Lyon has said that he is confident he will earn his place in the Test team before the return Ashes series.
According to News.com.au, Lyon just became a father for the first time and he said that the experience was a life-changing one as it made him realize that cricket was not everything.
Lyon said that he was confident in his skill and to get the job done, adding that there was no doubt about that and he was happy with the way he was bowling.
He said that to be around the likes of Michael Clarke, Brad Haddin, Shane Watson and others was going to help him learn about cricket and that is what he wanted to do while deciding to shift to New South Wales.
