Madonna has publicly expressed her love for her former husband Sean Penn, something she has said twice to his face this year.

When the 56-year-old actor appeared onstage at the pop star's 'Raising Malawi' charity auction and gala in Miami, Madonna told him, "I'm still in love with you. Yes. In fact, I think I love you more now that we're divorced."

Penn crawled in between her legs and slapped handcuffs on her playfully as she told the audience she would marry him again if he bid 150,000 dollars for a necklace. He did, but was later outbid.

The former couple marked each other's first marriage before they divorced in 1989 after four years.

Earlier in January, the 'Vogue' singer had professed her love for Penn at his 'Help Haiti Home' benefit gala, saying, "I want to say, Sean, that I love you from the moment that I laid eyes on you and I still love you just the same. I just wish you'd stop smoking so many cigarettes."

At the Raising Malawi event, Madonna performed some of her hits, such as 'Don't Tell Me' and 'Beautiful Stranger' as well as a cover of Britney Spears' 'Toxic.'

Celebrity guests at the event included Chris Rock, Courtney Love, Paris Hilton, 'Real Housewives of New York City' star Bethenny Frankel and model Karolina Kourkova.
