Madonna, who had come under fire after she Instagrammed pictures of her son Rocco clutching bottles of Bombay Sapphire gin and Belvedere vodka, has now hit back at her critics.
The 55-year-old singer said that no one was drinking and they were just having fun, asserting that people should calm down and get a sense of humor, Metro.co.uk reported.
The pop diva said that people shouldn't start their year off with judgement.
The singer and her four kids celebrated New Year in Switzerland where the legal age for drinking is 16.
The controversial picture was accompanied with the caption that the party has just begun! Bring it! 2014.
