A four-year-old child, who fell into a borewell in Adak Arjuni town of Gondia four days ago, was found dead last night.
The body of the boy, who fell into the borewell on March 9, was recovered late on Sunday night.
The district administration had swung into action as soon as it came to know about the child and started digging the adjoining part of the borewell with help of JCBs in an attempt to reach him.
According to the villagers, four year-old Vivek Donode went to a farm with his grandmother for grazing their sheeps.
While she was busy, the child went to nearby farm for playing with friends. While playing, he went to a farm where a borewell was dug. Out of curiosity, he went to hole and eventually fell into it.
