Major earthquake of 7.3 magnitude jolts Iraq

A high-intensity earthquake of magnitude 7.3 on Richter Scale struck near Iraq-Iran border, 20 miles southwest of the city of Halabjah.
The tremor was felt at Baghdad and other parts of Iraq, reported the Independent, quoting Iraqi Meteorology department.
No loss of lives and property has been reported so far.
