Make public all records related to land, bungalows of political parties: CIC

The Central Information Commission on Sunday directed the Ministry of Urban Development to make public all records related to the allotment of land and bungalows to political organisation and upload the details on its website.

According to reports, the CIC gave its directive after an appellant had sought information regarding allotment of land and government bungalows to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

In his order, Information Commissioner Yashovardhan Azad has reportedly asked the Central Public Information Officer to publish all documents, guidelines and circulars relating to such allotments on website of the ministry within four weeks.
