Manchester City recently played their own April Fools' prank on fans by making them believe that they are building a 1,200ft 'moon slide' to transport them out of the Etihad Stadium.
The Premier League club had released blueprints of the construction along with a video on their official club website, Metro.co.uk reported.
Peter Bradshaw, Head of Infrastructure Develop/Corp Responsibility, told the site that he had been working with his building partners and friends at the City Council to build a stellar attraction.
Bradshaw asserted that the structure is unique in that it looks like one tall storey but is put together like a jigsaw.
It has been quite a stress maintaining secrecy but he'd like to thank everyone who has managed to keep it quiet, he had added at the time.
