The much awaited sequel of 'Man of Steel', which would put Batman and Superman opposite each other, will reportedly go into production in early 2014.
The blockbuster is due to hit the box office in July 2015 and is set to be shot in Detroit, Michigan, which would double as Clark Kent's home city of Metropolis, Metro.co.uk reported.
The flick will see Henry Cavill reprising his role as Superman, alongside Ben Affleck as the newest incarnation of Batman.
Bryan Cranston of 'Breaking Bad' is also rumoured to be joining the cast as Lex Luthor for the sequel.
