In a league table based on the Twitter followings of England's top-flight clubs, last year champions Manchester United are out of the reckoning for a Champions League place this season, while new manager Moyes is bemused to see the club so far down the league table.
According to metro.co.uk, the top and bottom of the pile may not be too dissimilar to the 'official' version played out every weekend but Manchester United, who only set up a Twitter account earlier this year, may regret not jumping on the bandwagon sooner, with their feed languishing in fifth place, behind local rivals Manchester City.
Arsenal top the Twitter table with a staggering 2,741,610 followers, while London neighbours Chelsea are just behind, ahead of Liverpool, the two Manchester sides, the report said.
Propping up the table are Premier League new boys Hull City, with just 51,453 followers, while Crystal Palace and Cardiff make up the remainder of the 'relegation places,' the report added.
