Mariah Carey has confessed that she hated to be the judge on the musical competition, 'American Idol'.
In an interview with Hot 97's Angie Martinez, the 43-year-old said that she was the first person to sign the deal of the show and she thought it was going to be a three person panel, which would include Randy Jackson, who she knew since forever.
The singer claimed that it didn't turn out to be that way, instead it was like going to work every day in hell with Satan, Us magazine reported.
Even though Carey did not specify who she meant the devil was from the fellow judges, but it was clear that she had clashes with Nicki Minaj throughout the season, who occasionally got into very heated debates during the audition process with Carey and even took the feud online.
