New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum and India's Mohit Sharma has led their Chennai Super Kings team to a seven-wicket victory over defending champions Mumbai Indians in the 13th match of the Pepsi Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Mumbai, which was restricted for 141 for 7, crashed to their third successive defeat in the tournament due to an unimpressive batting, bowling and fielding spell.
According to Gulf News, McCullum recorded an elegant 71 runs off 53 balls, with eight fours and two sixes, and along with captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, steered the team to the target with six balls to spare while Sharma's deadly four-wicket spell helped CSK record a thumping victory.
Mumbai Indians, despite skipper Rohit Sharma's 52 runs off 41 balls with three boundaries and two sixes, could only muster 141 runs, the report added.
