McLaren is reportedly set to retain 2009 formula one world champion Jenson Button to partner Spaniard Fernando Alonso in their 2015 driver line-up.
The team will announce their driver line-up at a news conference in Surrey today. It has been reportedly revealed that McLaren have decided to retain Button for the next season after being leaning towards Kevin Magnussen in the past few weeks.
Though the chairman Ron Dennis reportedly was in favor of retaining Magnussen as he was fractionally quicker than the Briton, the continuing delays to make a decision have put the balance back in favor of Button, the BBC reported.
British racer concluded the season strongly that which saw him finishing fifth in the showdown in Abu Dhabi. It has also been reportedly revealed that Magnussen might be retained as reserve driver for 2015.
