Meerkat for iOS announces live streaming of videos from GoPro

Meerkat has announced a new feature that allows the users to live-stream video straight from a connected GoPro camera.

According to the Verge, to stream video directly the users have to simply connect their iPhone to GoPro and open the Meerkat app and then shake their phone to summon a prompt to start streaming from the connected device.

The feature introduced only works when the users have iOS device and GoPro 3 device.

The company said that GoPro 4 compatibility and Android support will be released soon.
