Florida police managed to nab a suspect after he commented on a smiling picture of his, posted on Facebook.

Matthew Oliver, who was wanted for robbery, first accused authorities of slandering his name, saying that all of this was bullshit.

The 23-year-old Florida man wrote on Facebook that all that he did has to do was to accuse someone and they would get into trouble, asserting that Pasco County has nothing but fools investigating crimes for them, which is why these mix ups happen, the New York Daily News reported.

He claimed in the social networking site that he was a mechanical engineer who was visiting a hospital for an infected cut he got during a mixed martial arts fight.

Oliver also explained that the arrest warrant was no longer active; he even defended himself and got into arguments with other commenters before cops tracked him and arrested him.

Pasco Fugitive Warrants, another Facebook account used by the Sheriff's office, joined in the feed on Friday and said that they had verified that he really was in the hospital.

They wrote that in an earlier post, they provided a telephone number for Oliver to call them and if he felt that he did not fit the definition of the word 'fugitive,' they will be hearing from him.

A couple hours later, Pasco Fugitive Warrants posted on Facebook that Oliver had been arrested.
