Melanie Brown may just sign the 1 million pound contract to become a regular judge on 'The X Factor', it has been revealed.
A source close to one of the show's judge, Louis Walsh, told the Daily Star that details regarding the 38-year-old singer's expenses and filming dates need to be taken off but other than that she would put down her signature any day now.
The show's boss Simon Cowell thinks that the former Spice Girl member would be perfect for the show and sees her like the female version of him, added the insider.
Cowell, who already pulled out 1.5 million dollars for Cheryl Cole's return on the panel, is spending well over budget on the panel for this year's series as he wants the show to return to its original fame.
Brown would be joining Cowell, Walsh, 61, and Cole, on the talent show which starts this summer.
