"There will be rainfall in Jammu and Kashmir for the next six days. Heavy rainfall may also occur tomorrow. There will be a wet spell for hilly regions next week. We have already given warnings through our weather forecast department," said Yadav.
Heavy rainfall in Srinagar earlier today led to water logging in several areas of the city.
Untimely rainfall in various parts of north India has resulted in poor yield and crop damage, which has adversely affected the life of farmers.
