Mettl's CEO emphasizes on the role of technology in education sector at Global Education Summit 2017

Mettl, one of India's leading online assessment company got to share the stage with leading educationists and skill aggregators across the industry at the Global Education Summit'17 in Delhi.

Global Education Summit celebrated itself as one of the biggest events in the education sector. The event brought together major stakeholders in sharing their experiences and ideas on the theme of "Quality Education in making a better society". Senior officials from the government like Shri UpendraKushwaha (Minister of State, Human Resource Department), industry and academia and key decision makers in the field of education from India and all over the world graced the occasion with their insightful words.

In the words of Mettl's CEO, Ketan Kapoor - "We see a new trend coming up in the education sector of India, where age old techniques are falling behind; new technologies like online assessments, remote proctoring, data backed online exam software is helping education institutes in taking a step forward in the right direction".

Platforms like that of Mettl's are ending the pen-paper testing era and starting a new phase of online assessments for Entrance Tests, Internal Exams, Distance Learning Programs and other high stakes exam gradually.

Ketan also highlighted key features like Remote Proctoring, Scalability at a click of a button, better student-teacher experience and data-backed curation of assessments are imperative for this massive shift from age-old techniques to new ones.

With clients of the size of the biggest business schools in India among other notable education institutions, Mettl's CEO briefly discussed the impact made on the education scenario till date and engaged in discussion with leading industry experts on the way forward.
