The Ministry of Home Affairs has utilized 49.14 per cent of the funds out of the total budget of Rs 93,171.61 crores for 2018-19. The expenditure is from April to September 7.
While reviewing the budget expenditure for the current financial year at a meeting here on Friday, Home Minister Rajnath Singh expressed satisfaction at the pace of expenditure.
He also directed the officials to maintain greater focus on capital expenditure and schemes and ensure full utilization of allotted budget grants.
The meeting was also attended by Ministers of State Hansraj Gangaram Ahir and Kiren Rijiju besides Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba and senior officers.
