"Transformers" mega-director Michael Bay fled the stage during a Samsung press conference in Las Vegas after he got tripped up by a malfunctioning teleprompter and was unable to ad-lib his way out.

Bay was cued up to deliver an endorsement of the content on TVs, such as Samsung's new 105-inch curved screen, by linking it to his movie career, Mashable reports.

Samsung Executive Vice President Joe Stinziano stood alone and stunned on the stage in front of hundreds of reporters at the Consumer Electronics Show in Sin City after Bay left him alone.
