Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen has said that he along with his team of researchers have found the debris of the Japanese battleship Musashi that sunk during the World War II 70 years ago.
According to Fox News, if it is confirmed as the Musashi, the team would complete their 8 years of research.
The team has outfitted the billionaire's yacht, M/Y Octopus, with high-tech equipment to map undersea topography.
Allen's publicity agency Edelman released a statement on Wednesday that said that the wreckage had been located on Sunday by a Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) outfitted with a high-definition camera.
