Microsoft to acquire productivity app Wunderlist

Microsoft is set to acquire 6Wunderkinder GmbH, the Germany-based startup that created and develops Wunderlist for an amount between USD 100 million and USD 200 million.

According to the Verge, the deal has not been finalised as yet.

The deal represents Microsoft's latest move to boost its mobile presence and cover all bases around productivity software.

Wunderlist has earned favourable reviews among Android, iOS, and Windows Phone users.

However, Wunderlist has declined to comment on the deal with Microsoft.
