Mika Singh congratulates Nehwal for achieving World No.1 ranking in Badminton

Playback singer Mika Singh on Sunday congratulated ace shuttler Saina Nehwal for for achieving World No.1 ranking in badminton. and wished her luck for the finals of India Open badminton championship being held at the Siri Fort Indoor Complex here.

"I would like to congratulate Saina Nehwal, she is playing very good. I wish her all the best for the future. She will make the country proud by winning the tournament," Mika told ANI.

Nehwal achieved the number one rank after the reigning world champion Carolina Marin of Spain lost to Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand in the India Open semifinals.

However, the official rankings will be out only on Thursday next week.
