Despite garnering criticism for her antics at the MTV VMAs, Miley Cyrus's manager, Larry Rudolph, has revealed that the star and her entourage "couldn't have been happier" with her performance with Robin Thicke.
Rudolph told Us Magazine that the singer's family and friends, including her mum Tish, were all cheering from the side of the stage.
Rudolph added that the gig could not have gone better and since the fans got it, the rest will eventually get it.
Earlier, Justin Timberlake had also spoken in defense of the star, asserting that the uproar was uncalled for as such things are expected at VMAs.
The 'We can't stop' hit maker was seen dancing provocatively in a nude bikini with Thicke at the event.
