Conrad Murray, the doctor convicted of killing Michael Jackson has demanded 300,000 pounds for his autobiography deal.

A senior source from a respectable publishing house claimed that they passed on the deal without reading a word of his partial manuscript.

The source said that they are aware that Murray has spoken to other publishers, but believes that anyone who allows him to profit from his crime will be buying trouble, the Daily Express reported.

Los Angeles media analyst, Mike Raia admitted that it is far from uncommon in America for criminals, even Mafia mobsters, to walk out of prison and sign a lucrative book deal but Murray is almost universally reviled.

The 60-year-old former heart specialist had admitted that he was broke and desperate to earn money to support himself, his girlfriend actress, Nicole Alvarez, and their four-year-old son Che.
