Moderate to heavy voter turnout for Lok Sabha polls in four Northeast states

The polling for six Lok Sabha seats in four Northeast states saw moderate to heavy voter turnout.

The Northeastern states of Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh had went on polls and registered voter turnout of 80 percent, 81.47 percent, 71 percent and 55 percent respectively till the last report of the Election Cmmission came in.

The polling in Arunachal Pradesh was also done for 60 Assembly seats in the State.
